Saturday was an emotional day for the electronic music community as it marked the one year anniversary of Avicii‘s death. Many artists took to social media to remember the beloved producer but Gryffin went one step further by inviting Aloe Blacc to perform “Wake Me Up” live at Coachella. Their emotional tribute to the late producer brought fans to tears and become one of the most iconic performances of the weekend. Gryffin and Aloe Blacc also performed their collaboration “Hurt People” off Gryffin’s upcoming Gravity Pt. 2 album.
