– Your new single off of the new album Summer is a little more pop than we expected.
– Don’t worry, the words are still super dark. 🙂 The rest of the album is the same mixture of dark nostalgic dance . . . or something.

And those super dark words are in Russian on Minneapolis band STOLYETTE‘s new album Summer by TOTALLY GROSS NATIONAL PRODUCT (US). Quotation from a short interview on Secret of The City

I was working in the front of the office’s big glass window when the new SHARP printer/copier machine has arrived. The workers put it right before the same old one. On that day it was raining. And through the leaky roof raindrops fell on the new one.  It was covered with plastic film.

Since then three months passed. The new machine is right before the old one. And if it is raining, they cover it with plastic film.

It is happening in the UK, where TDA debut album Certain Standards To Maintain has been released on PERMANENT SLUMP
