Cora 19 years old has just returned to Bucco, the village of her childhood. She works for her father Michele, mayor of the town, in the organization of the important celebration of the Virgin of Bucco, an annual event that attracts many Christian pilgrims and tourists. But the arrival of a mysterious man named Saverio, gradually destabilizes the harmony of the town by reveling of a crime committed forty years ago by the people of the village, whose main instigator would be Cora’s father.
