With this year’s Stone Free Festival at London’s O2 Areana just under a month away, more exciting additions to the line-up have been announced, in addition to the full running order for the weekend.

We’ve also been chatting to some of the bands who are playing the festival – watch out for our feature in the next few days. Meanwhile, as they say, FYI…

On Saturday STONE FREE FESTIVAL will be headlined by legendary German rockers Scorpions bringing their full production for their only UK show this year, with thrash titans Megadeth also giving their only UK performance of the year and sleazy Californian good-time rockers Buckcherry joining them in the main arena.

The Indigo at The O2 on Saturday features headliners Orange Goblin and Stone Broken – the latter one of the hardest working live bands in the country. Meanwhile the Orange Amps Stage on Saturday will have the likes of British hard-rock bands Aaron Buchanan & The Cult Classics and and Daxx & Roxanne whilst Sundaywelcomes the thunderous Black Country natives The Bad Flowers and the dynamic soulful Scots The Rising Souls.

In the arena on Sunday, joining prog-rock royalty YES featuring ARW, who are celebrating their 50th Anniversary will be former Supertramp frontman Roger Hodgson, the hugely acclaimed Liverpool band Anathema and some hard blues rock from Joanne Shaw Taylor.

In Indigo at The O2 on Sunday, former Poison and The Winery Dogs guitar hero Richie Kotzen will be closing the stage, performing tracks from his prolific catalogue. Also appearing will be NYC 80’s hard-rockers Tyketto and The Wildhearts frontman Ginger Wildheart.
