| Tonight there's a super cheap punk show at Le Voyeur in Olympia being put on by the Olympia chapter of the Pyrate Punx. 2 ducets barely gets you a tall can these days. Why not invest it in getting beat up by your friends to a live performance soundtrack of noises from the basement and the backwoods. Oly favorites, The Deceptives are always a riot. I've watched them play for 3 years now and they haven't changed a bit. I think Germ (the leads) may actually be 16 years old forever. In reality they are deceiving us all. They have progressed into a solid garage punk band reminiscent of the early (pre-hardcore) 80's. I also think they are extremely sexy. They have board game parties that turn into giant orgies with hookers and blow. Very deceptive. The Spillbillies come from some ranch somewhere. I just know they have a blood drive bus full of moonshine and dabs. Last time I hung out with them I woke up in a deer stand across a river from PITW (punx in the woods) camp. They are great people. Ex-Deleted so I guess they are reinserted? Fucking music that is guaranteed to make you want to get drunk and climb trees. Or at least in my case. Psycho 78 is from Tacoma. I don't really know them but I've seen them play and they kick ass. They hate it when you don't move. They also hate Mierda. Its good punk reminiscent of 13 scars, but without Bradley bouncing off the walls. That just means we need someone else to get the pit started. Come to this fucking show. It's friday, you aint got no job, and you aint got shit to do. Spange up two bucks and come pit with us. |  |
