–Featured Release: Lana Del Rey: “Lust for Life”–

Background:

Lana Del Rey made quite a splash early in her career with Born to Die and Ultraviolence, and that early level of success has propelled her to become one of the more consistent pop/indie songstresses in the mainstream spotlight.  Although 2015’s Honeymoon wasn’t quite as illustrious, it did nothing to ruin or further her image, which is where Lust For Life comes in as a potential game changer.  With her fourth full-length LP, Lana gets to decide if she will stay the course and be an artist who refines her sound with every release, or change directions and aim for a new sound.  Early indications point to the former – Lana has built a solid fan base and figures to continue building upon that legacy.  Either way, when LDR releases new material, it’s worth taking some time to swoon over those haunting, forlorn vocals.
