The mighty Skating Polly have more creativity and energy than one could even shake a stick at. Yes, we try to shake sticks sometimes but can't. Since the first moment we saw these two step-sisters Kelli Mayo and Peyton Bighorse hit the stage at the Bootleg in L.A. back in 2013, they have never failed to surprise and inspire.

This week's tune is no exception, an unforgettable cover they dropped quietly on their SoundCloud page in 2014 of Kanye West's "Can't Tell Me Nothing". It was the first single from Graduation, West's third album which ran away with 2007 and is coming up on a tenth anniversary mark this coming May.

On January 20 and 21 you can catch Mayo's acting debut in the world premiere of the pilot When the Street Lights Go On at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival! Directed by multi-award winner Brett Morgen (The Kid Stays in the Picture, Nimrod Nation, Crossfire Hurricane, Cobain: Montage of Heck), Kelli will play Berlice Beaman, a 15-year-old bohemian bookworm in a coming-of-age thriller about a sleepy, suburban Illinois town that is rocked by the brutal murder of a high school girl and her teacher in the summer of 1983.

When the Street Lights Go On. Directed by Brett Morgen, written by Eddie O'Keefe & Chris Hutton, and starring Max Burkholder, Odessa Young, Adam Long, Ben Winchell, Nicola Peltz, Drew Roy, Cory Hardict, Luke Kirby, Graham Beckel and Kelli Mayo.

January 20 - Egyptian Theatre - 2:30PM - Sundance, Park City, UT
January 21 - Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center - 3:30PM - Sundance, Salt Lake City, UT
