Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have not split because of her “wild ways,” despite a report. Gossip Cop can confirm the couple is very much still together. In fact, Hemsworth himself is proving it.

But the National Enquirer is blaring in a headline on its website, “Miley Cyrus Rocks Romance With Return To Her Wild Ways.” The article begins, “Miley Cyrus is back in ‘Party in the U.S.A.’ mode — as her engagement to Liam Hemsworth goes up in smoke!” Alleges a so-called “source,” “[She’s] been up to her old tricks again and staying up late doing God knows what, probably drinking and smoking pot.”

“Miley’s family and friends are having a hard time reaching her, especially in the morning. They think she’s sleeping it off,” claims the tabloid’s untraceable tipster, who adds, “Miley calls back in the afternoon all groggy and out of it, like she just woke up.” These purported “bad girl antics” have “coincided with the implosion of her on-off romance” with Hemsworth, contends the magazine.

The outlet maintains Cyrus has moved out of Hemsworth’s Malibu home, and that she has “scrubbed Liam from her social media account.” An alleged “family mole” further asserts, “Things have been incredibly tense between them. Liam wants to get married and he’s getting tired of waiting for Miley to commit to a wedding date. And if Miley’s back to drinking and weed, Liam will not tolerate it.”

Yet the publication has no evidence of the singer using any substances in recent weeks. The tabloid also offers no proof of any partying. The last time Cyrus was seen cutting loose, if it can even be called out, is in a Twitter photo from July that shows her smiling on a pool float during an Independence Day celebration. And whatever she is or isn’t doing, her longtime fiancé is clearly “tolerating” it. On Tuesday, Hemsworth posted on both Twitter and Instagram a photo of himself with Cyrus walking with their dogs.

“Strolls with my girls,” he captioned the snapshot. The tweet was sent at 11:30 a.m. Eastern, and if the couple was on the West Coast, that would mean they were out and about at 8:30 a.m. That goes against the magazine’s narrative about Cyrus being unreachable in the mornings because she’s supposedly “sleeping it off.” It is also evident through Hemsworth’s post that their romance hasn’t “imploded.”

Furthermore, the contention that Cyrus has “scrubbed” the actor from social media is wrong, too. In actuality, as was already reported more than a month ago, Cyrus deleted everything on her Instagram because she’s gearing up for a new phase of her career, which she plans to promote through platform. Photos of Hemsworth remain on Cyrus’ Twitter, including a March post in which she called him one of her “favorite men.”

It is also untrue the couple is battling over a wedding date. As TMZ reported earlier this month, both Cyrus and Hemsworth are still in no rush for marriage, because “privately they are as tight as any married couple” already, “with very little drama.” It was even noted that they’re “amused by persistent rumors they’re splitting up because they haven’t tied the knot.”

Conclusion: The magazine claims Cyrus and Hemsworth’s relationship has fallen apart because of her alleged partying and substance use, yet the outlet had nothing to back up those allegations. And the rest of its assertions are disproven through readily available evidence, including Hemsworth’s own tweet showing the couple is still together and she is still his “girl.” The publication previously peddled a story last October contending Cyrus’ “naughty girl” persona was returning. There is no proof that it has, but even if it does one day, Hemsworth is currently still by her side.
