Katy Perry is not upset about Robert Pattinson supposedly “dating multiple women,” despite a false tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this latest nonsense in the ongoing saga about the longtime friends. We’re told there’s no truth to it.
“Rob’s Playing The Field,” reads a headline in the latest issue of In Touch. The article begins by recycling the false claim that Pattinson and Perry were spotted making out at a restaurant in Los Angeles last month, but no such kiss occurred. Instead, the actor and singer enjoyed dinner with a group of several other mutual friends.
Despite the fact that nothing romantic is going on between Pattinson and Perry, an alleged “source” tells the magazine “he’s been playing the field like crazy” without her knowledge. The outlet’s supposed insider adds, “Katy thinks she’s found Mr. Right with Rob, but she’s headed for heartache. He’s dating multiple women at the moment.”
Who are these “multiple women”? First, the seemingly phony source says that Pattinson hooked up with Damsel co-star Mia Wasikowska when they premiered their movie at last month’s Sundance Film Festival. The “insider” adds, “Rob jumped from Mia to Katy.” However, a rep for the actress assures us that the claim is “entirely untrue.” We’re further told that Pattinson and Wasikowska, who also co-starred together in 2014’s Maps to the Stars, “are very close, longtime friends.”
Next, the untrustworthy magazine dredges up the phony old rumors about Pattinson having “secret dinners” with Emma Watson. But the former Harry Potter co-stars have never been an item, as Gossip Cop has repeatedly noted in the past. Still, the publication’s questionable source concludes, “Rob’s a player now, simple as that.”
Of course, the tabloid’s tale is filled with a laughable amount of inaccuracies. For starters, Pattinson has never been romantically involved with either Wasikowska or Watson. But even if the actor had dated one or both of his former co-stars, Perry would have no reason to be upset, considering the singer has never been involved with him either. This latest article about the actor’s love life is weaving together a whole lot of false narratives that Gossip Cop has repeatedly debunked.
In Touch’s new report about Pattinson and his “multiple women” is just a combination of old and inaccurate stories. Gossip Cop can once again confirm that the actor has never “played the field” with Perry, Watson or Wasikowska, despite all three women being dragged into the same bogus article.
