A report claiming Jennifer Aniston was “caught” holding hands with Adam Sandler following her split from Justin Theroux is completely ridiculous. In reality, the actress was simply photographed shooting a movie with her co-star, but one of the blogs is attempting to create a fake romance between the two. Gossip Cop can bust it.
On Monday, Aniston and Sandler were spotted strolling the streets of Milan hand-in-hand while filming the Netflix comedy Murder Mystery, in which they play a married couple. The two weren’t on a romantic vacation together, but that didn’t stop RadarOnline from suggesting the actress has been “caught” with a “new man” in her life.
The outlet goes on to wrongly contend that Theroux has “moved on with a collection of Hollywood women,” before claiming Aniston is “getting close” to Sandler as payback. But as Gossip Cop has reported, the actress’s estranged husband hasn’t gotten involved with any “Hollywood women” following their split. The unreliable website adds, “Aniston’s flirty hand-holding may be platonic (for now).” Not only was it platonic, it was scripted.
The blog ends its absurd piece by asking readers if Aniston and Sandler “would make a good couple?” The site doesn’t bother to mention that the actor is happily married with two kids. In fact, Sandler’s wife Jackie accompanied him and Aniston when they visited George Clooney’s home in Lake Como earlier this month. Sandler’s two daughters have also been in Italy as he films Murder Mystery, so he’s presumably been spending time with his family when he’s not working.
Here’s what’s happening. Aniston and Sandler were photographed holding hands while shooting scenes for their Netflix comedy, and RadarOnline decided to create a bogus narrative about the actress getting “caught” with another man. The pair weren’t “caught” doing anything but making a movie. Aniston and Sandler have been friends for more than 20 years, and the actress was even a guest at his 2003 wedding.
Gossip Cop busted the blog earlier this month for falsely claiming that Aniston was rekindling a romance with Brad Pitt. This latest article fails to mention what happened to that supposed reunion. In Murder Mystery, Aniston and Sandler play a couple who go on the run after being framed for the death of an elderly billionaire. Considering that RadarOnline doesn’t seem to know the difference between the movies and reality, it’s surprising the site didn’t note that the famous pair are also fugitives.
