Luke (Q-PUP) commented:
“Growing up I often felt isolated and ashamed of myself. I wanted to make an album that reconciled that confused feeling of childhood isolation with the nostalgic desire to revisit times that, to me at least, seemed peaceful. As a kid I spent a lot of time at this farm in northern Minnesota with my family; I always felt at home there. There were people I loved and there were people that loved me and I made a lot of mistakes and sometimes I felt like everything was going to cover me up. This album is about those people and those mistakes and those times.”
Ancient Agriculture and What It Means will be released digitally/physically on January 27th.by Tilde Records. Q-PUP has a couple of shows in Minnesota surrounding the release. Catch him live at Skyway Theater (January 28th) and Dead Media (February 5th).
