It is an exciting time for progressive metal act Stellar Circuits. The Winston-Salem-based band have been at it since 2015 with the release of their debut self-titled EP, and have just graced the internet with a brand new single entitled “Go With Your Ghost”, which is off of their forthcoming record Ways We Haunt (out November 9th). But wait, there’s more! To show you just how they did it on the single, guitarist Andrew Mericle and bassist Jesse Olsen got together to bring you this exclusive playthrough of the song, only right here, on Gear Gods!
If there’s one thing you can tell from the video, it’s that Andrew and Jesse are in sync. The dudes plow through this complex, ever-changing track with ease, delving into the melodic moments and powering through the heavy ones. The tune borrows some defining elements of both prog rock and metal and combines them into a song that goes down smooth, while simultaneously holding nothing back when the guys want to show you they mean business. An all-around delicious taste of what’s to come on Ways We Haunt, and we simply can’t wait to have more.
