Proz Taylor’s ‘Valley’ is a Place We’ve All Been

Published: January 20, 2017

Proz Taylor is a San Antonio-based artist I have been following since I was a junior in high school, six years ago. It has been great to see his growth and development, especially taking into account that he has been in Texas, Mississippi and New York since I first discovered his music.

Proz started the new year strong by partnering with Amanda Marie, Choq Moonbounce and Thom Sykes to release “Valley,” the latest single from his upcoming project, “Deadman Wonderland.” You can tell a lot of thought and work was put into this song. The production is absolutely crazy and makes you want turn the volume all the way up.

Proz has a skill of writing down his thoughts and putting them on a well-produced beat with top-notch sound. Follow him on Instagram (@proztaylor) to get a glimpse of his day-to-day dedication to music. It seems like he lives in the studio, perfecting his craft.

What I enjoy about Proz’ music is that I can relate to it. We all have our dark moments but music is the light, whether we create it or just listen to it. Our mind can play tricks on us and there are days where we just want to escape – to a “Valley,” perhaps?
