Alina Baraz Signs to Mom + Pop and Releases Urban Flora on Vinyl

We are pleased to announce that Alina Baraz has joined the Mom + Pop family!

We became hooked last year as she emerged onto the electronic scene with the Urban Flora EP, which was created in collaboration with Danish artist/producer, Galimatias. The collaboration took place over SoundCloud and went on to create an EP’s worth of songs long-distance as the two only communicated via the internet. With Baraz falling for his beats and Galimatias being capable of building and modulating her hushed voice around them, it’s no surprise  duo’s EP has earned critical praise.

Now for the first time, Urban Flora is set to be released on vinyl. The vinyl package is designed to match the aesthetic of its digital counterpart, transforming the album and single artwork into custom inserts and a sticker pack. To echo the artwork’s floral notes, the bundle will also come with a uniquely designed enamel rose pin. While the vinyl will not be unleashed to the world until August 26th, you can pre-order your copy now!
