We’ve not even reached the height of summer, but already many of the world’s retailers are starting to slash the prices of their SS17 collections. That’s good news for shoppers, but a sign of how difficult things are for retailers right now — there’s so much competition these days that stores are pushing sales further and further forward in the calendar. At times it feels like sale season is the only time anyone’s actually buying clothes (unless you’re Supreme, of course).
With that in mind, we’ve rounded up a selection of some of the best streetwear, fashion and sneaker mid-season sales out there — many of them are short-term flash sales, so if you want to do a bit of cut-price shopping, you’d best be quick.
Many of these stores are offering discounts on women’s and home goods, too.
Be warned, most of the mid-season sales are temporary, so don’t say we didn’t warn you (don’t let that tempt you into copping something you don’t want or need, though — buyer’s remorse sucks!)
The mother of all concept stores is holding a mid-season sale, with up to 40 percent off on most of its genre-defying collections, starting May 24 and finishing May 29.
The forward-thinking London retailer is home to some of the most obscure, niche and cutting-edge brands around, and is marking down prices by up to 50 percent. You’re guaranteed to find something you’ve never seen before, and at a discount.
Good news for shoppers on a budget: there’s tons of entry-level bargains to be found here. Sneakers are up to 50 percent off, with a “sale on sale” offer cutting a further 50 percent off a selection of already marked-down items. There’s also some buy one, get one half price offers on shorts and denim, too.
Euro shoppers rejoice. The coolest store in Berlin has, you guessed it, cut prices by 30 percent — including womenswear.
Starting from Wednesday, May 24, SSENSE will be offering up to 50 percent off over 200 of its high-end, luxury and underground labels. The mid-season sale extravaganza kicks off at 11am EST (that’s 4pm GMT).

The Italian luxury retailer is offering all sorts of markdowns, up to 50 percent. There’s an extra 25 percent off sale items if you use the code “X25”, too.
30 percent off sneakers for 24 hours only. Outside of the mid-season sales, you can grab 10 percent off if you sign up to the store’s newsletter.
Get your Paypal at the ready, euro streetwear heads. Sneakersnstuff is offering up to 70 percent off its sneakers and apparel. There’s shit-tons of Nike and adidas bargains to be had, here.
