Ariana Grande’s concert at Manchester Arena in England ended in tragedy when an explosion killed 19 people and wounded around 50 others. Following the sound of a loud blast, concertgoers ran screaming from the venue in a panic. Police referred to the attack as “a terrorist incident.” A representative confirmed that Grande herself wasn’t hurt, and now, the singer has shared a brief statement on Twitter. “broken,” she wrote. “from the bottom of my heart, i am so so sorry. i don’t have words.”

Grande’s manager Scooter Braun also shared a statement. “Tonight, our hearts are broken,” he wrote. “Words cannot express our sorrow for the victims and families harmed in this senseless attack. We mourn the lives of children and loved ones taken by this cowardly act.”
