Published: April 18, 2018

It's a bop! The weekend is nigh and Tancred is bringing it home. The FADER just premiered her latest single "Queen of New York," complete with a moody vid directed by Shervin Lainez –

“The song is primarily about one night stands and the internal reflection the next day,” shares Jess Abbott, “but I also wanted to include the smallest impression of moments therein where you really connect with someone in an emotional way, even if you both know it’s just for the night.”

"Queen of New York" is taken from Tancred's new album, Nightstand, out June 1. NPR Music praised first song "Reviews" declaring, "Abbott has polished her songwriting into a resplendent pop shine." Pre-order your Early Bird edition on 180-Gram Black/Off-White Starburst, which includes an exclusive tape with acoustic versions of 8 album tracks, plus a postcard signed by Jess herself. Get it while you can!
