As we merge back into reality this week, we can’t help but reminisce at our desks about all the good times we had at Los Angeles Comic-Con 2018. Our fun-filled weekend consisted of endless nerd pride, freebies, exclusive merch, and the D – Tenacious D that is.
IHEARTCOMIX partnered with our pals Tenacious D to bring you the epic Post-Apocalypto Zone to promote their brand new album and animated series Post-Apocalypto.
We kickstarted the weekend with a special Q&A with Jack Black and Kyle Gass at the main stage of the conon Friday night. Then, a lucky few had the chance to experience an exclusive screening of Post-Apocalypto alongside Jack and Kyle at a secret location at the convention.
At the IHC x Tenacious D booth, fans could buy plethora of three-headed dog pillows, cum rags, and even a few rare retro IHC tees. They also got the chance to listen to Tenacious D’s Post-Apocalypto album and get some merch signed by Kyle Gass himself.
Alas, all good things must come to an end, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t already plotting our next big takeover for LACC 2019. Stay tuned…
