Nine Inch Nails have just lost their new bassist. Eric Avery, who formerly played the four-string for Jane's Addiction, has left Nine Inch Nails after feeling "overwhelmed" by the band's upcoming tour schedule.
Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor made the announcement of Avery's involvement with the band in February of this year, but just as quickly as Avery joined Nine Inch Nails, he's pulled out of NIN's touring plans, leaving a vacancy in the group's lineup. Avery broke the news publicly via his personal
Facebook account, making it clear that his decision is a bittersweet one.
