Midwest artists dominate nominations for XXL’s Freshmen Class 2017

It’s that time of year again, where XXL starts generating buzz for their 2017 Freshmen Class issue. But before they reveal the cover, the fans get a chance to vote for their favorite artists to snag the coveted 10th spot. The polls are open for the next seven days, and close on April 2nd. The Midwest has definitely had no problem making some freshman appearances  over the past few years, especially Chicago with Chance, Bibby, Durk, Vic Mensa, Tink and G Herbo all making the list since 2014. So today, we checked out the list and saw the Midwest was dominating the nominations yet again, so we’ve listed them all below in alphabetical order.

You have until midnight, April 2nd to vote for your favorite artist. You are allowed to vote 1 time every 4 hours from any system (computer, phone, etc.) Vote early and vote often.
