Today is February 22. That may not mean much to everyone, but to the real Marg-heads in your life, it means everything. That's right: It's National Margarita Day, as declared by, uh, this website and this guy named Todd who made it a thing. To quote, "Todd McCalla founded National Margarita Day to spread his love for margaritas around the world. Loved and consumed by millions, friends and families around the world honor this sacred tequila, triple sec and lime drink every year on February 22." Todd tha God, today we celebrate, thanks to you.
How to celebrate? Well that's simple: Make a marg! And listen to Jimmy Buffett. Better yet, listen to Jimmy Buffett and Alan Jackson serenade you together, then follow the official Margaritaville "Key West Margarita" recipe courtesy of the Margaritaville website. Which, actually, now that I'm looking at it, is a pretty loose interpretation of the drink. But don't worry about that. Hang loose! Enjoy some fucking margaritas! Turn up!
