Ο Jim Politis όντας ο πρώτος και μοναδικός έλληνας που έχει παίξει ζωντανά στο Royal Albert Hall με ξεχωριστές συνεργασίες (όπως με τον Stochelo Rosenberg από τους Rosenberg trio) και τεράστια εμπειρία μέσα από σεμινάρια που έχει επιμεληθεί παγκοσμίως και μάλιστα σε χώρες όπως η Σιγκαπούρη, η Μαλαισία, η Ουαλία, η Αγγλία κτλ. αλλά και στην Ελλάδα με σταθερή βάση το DjangoFest Athens ανήκει στην αιχμή του δόρατος της σύγχρονης κιθαριστικής μουσικής, με σημαντική δισκογραφία, συναρπάζοντας με το απίστευτο Gypsy Jazz παίξιμο του καταφέρνοντας παράλληλα να μεταπηδά στο Fusion σύμπαν της ηλεκτρικής κιθάρας αλλά και στον απαιτητικό χώρο του Percussion//Fingerstyle παιξίματος.

BIOGRAPHY
Jim Politis is the founder and lead guitarist of the Ethnic/Gypsy Jazz band The Ghost Notes. Coming from a music background that combines many different music genres (metal, jazz, rock, blues, funk) he presents a modern approach in Gypsy Jazz Music.
He has shared the stage with Stochelo Rosenberg of The Rosenberg Trio,on The Ghost Notes' first concert of their 3rd European Tour, in Athens, Greece,
and collaborated with jazz pianist George Kontrafouris on The Ghost Notes' second Album, ''Secrets Of A Memory’’.
He has appeared live in mumerous venues and festivals, including The Royal Albert Hall (UK), Djangofollies Festival (Belgium), 4 times in Djangofest Festival (Greece), Brussels Jazz Marathon (Belgium), JekerJazz Festival (Netherlands), and has had 5 European tours with The Ghost Notes, as well as a solo tour in Malaysia and Singapore.
He currently lives in Athens, where he teaches music, and he performs live with The Ghost Notes all over Europe.
Jim Politis uses RM Acouctics Pre Amps,Sigletos custom made guitars and is an Ambassador of Scheltler Group.
