Wal Mart yodeling kid might perform with Post Malone at Coachella

Published: April 13, 2018

This year’s Coachella is set to be the mega-festival’s biggest installment yet, with the Indio, California institution boasting Top 40-friendly headliners in pop titans the Weeknd, Beyoncé, and Eminem. Festival attendees will be pleased to learn that it seems that a creative force of equal charisma, star-power, and artistry seems to be joining the already star-studded lineup: Wal-Mart Yodel Kid.

TMZ reports that sources close to Mason Ramsey, the 11-year-old that blasted off to viral stardom last week from a video of him belting out Hank Williams in an Illinois Wal-Mart, claim Ramsey to be in talks to perform at Coachella over the festival’s two weekend installments this month.

Although Ramsey’s Wal-Mart debut was strictly a solo showcase, word is he’ll be sharing the stage this time around, first with his DJ doppelganger Whethan on the Friday of Weekend 1, and then alongside White Iverson himself, Post Malone, during his Saturday set of Weekend 2.

Ramsay’s been on a bit of a tour since his star ascended — in addition to his rumored Coachella spots, he’s returned to the very same Wal-Mart for an encore performance, charmed your mother into oblivion via an Ellen performance, and will be performing at a little place called the Grand Ole Opry this Saturday.

In case you somehow missed the original video, here it is for your viewing pleasure.
