This Migos x Dr. Seuss remix will change reading forever

Published: April 04, 2018

Since being propelled to stardom in 2016 with “Bad and Boujee”, Migos have managed to reliably secure the mental real estate of pretty much everybody through a constant stream of features, collaboration albums, and sitcom cameos, reaching an unprecedented level of ubiquity in late January with the release of the nearly two-hour-long Culture II. And now, Minneapolis rapper Win Nevaluze has helped Migos add “beloved children’s books” to that already-sprawling resume by rapping the prose of Dr. Seuss’ Wocket in my Pocket over their Drake-featuring single, “Walk It Talk It”.

The degree to which the mash-up works is jaw-dropping, marrying the flagship Migos sound of triplet flows and left-field adlibs to a tale of Zables on tables and Quimneys up chimneys that, much like any great Migos song, will be bouncing around in your head for the rest of the day. Fingers remain crossed for the announcement of a “Cat in the Trap” mixtape.
