The Property Brothers are also country singers

Published: January 20, 2017

Just a quick, important reminder in case you forgot: HGTV icons, real estate moguls, Breaker High stars, and identical twins Jonathan and Drew Scott are also trying to be pop-country artists.

Though the ProBros have forged a lucrative entertainment career out of their real estate and home reno acumen, they’ve always been nothing if not multi-talented. For example, did you know that Jonathan appeared in a 1994 X-Files episode, or that he’s logged time as an illusionist? Or that Drew was in Smallville? What about their Vine (RIP) career? All these entertainment industry credits certainly helped them attract a TV audience, but the jury’s still out on whether they can make it as musicians, even with all the versatile media skills they’ve honed over the years.

The Bros. have just released another on-brand pop-country jam, a cover of Flo Rida’s “My House,” and as you’d expect, it features a ton of shots of their shared Las Vegas home. Guys, it’s great you love each other and everything, but you know you don’t have to live together too, you know. Be sure to watch it long enough to catch the Carrot Top cameo – he’s apparently their neighbour.

This isn’t the brothers’ first foray into music, either; they debuted with a four-song charity EP back in 2015, as I’m sure we all recall:

Of course, there was also that Macklemore parody:

This has been your reminder that the Property Bros. are also country pop duo. Thank you. See you next year.
