Drake may spend most of Scorpion’s 25-track journey trying to show you how much he’s grown up, dropping bars lamenting today’s youth and about his fresh role as a father, but all it takes is a single magic trick to de-age Aubrey Graham’s stoneface into the youthful smile of Wheelchair Jimmy.
UK magician Julius Dein caught up with the Toronto rapper in a recently-posted Instagram video – we won’t spoil the trick itself, but let’s just say it involves unlikely marriage of lollipops and Batman:

Even if you’re a nonbeliever in the magical arts, Dein’s trick is worth a peep if only for Drake’s near-immediate switch from annoyed skepticism to jaw-dropped childlike wonder upon Dein’s reveal. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Drake’s niche enthusiasm for magic tricks on display, with the artist’s wonder at the hands of street magic OG David Blaine suggesting that maybe a getting-sawed-in-half setpiece isn’t too out of the question for his next tour.
