Pete Davidson is feeling “lit” after his engagement to Ariana Grande.
During his appearance on “The Tonight Show” last night, the “SNL” star confirmed that he is engaged to the “No Tears Left to Cry” singer. “I feel like I won a contest,” he told Jimmy Fallon.
When asked how it feels, an overjoyed Davidson responded: “It’s fucking lit,” before adding, “I’m a lucky motherfucker.”
Since news of their engagement, Davidson says men will nod at him on the street in a sign of acknowledgement. “Some dude came up to me like, ‘Yo, man, you gave me hope.'”
The newly-engaged couple is already taking the next step in their relationship by moving in together. According to TMZ, they are renting a $16 million apartment in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood. Designed by famed architect Zaha Hadid, the 4,000 sq. ft. unit has 5 beds and 4.5 baths, with views of the city and the Empire State Building.
The couple first met when Grande hosted “SNL” in March 2016. Davidson proposed with a custom 3.03-carat diamond ring that reportedly cost $93,000.
