Collaborating with the likes of Beyoncé, Stevie Wonder, Ne-Yo, Mac Miller and more, hip-hop violinist Ezinma knows how to weave the classical violin into various genres. Today at 1pm ET, Ezinma is teaming up with TIDAL to exclusively premiere “Instrumentals: Ezinma” where she covers Post Malone’s “Rockstar,” 21 Savage’s “Bank Account,” and Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow” and talks about her background with the violin.
As a classically trained violinist, Ezinma has performed with string quartets and orchestras at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and Madison Square Garden. Now, Ezinma is showing a different side of the classical violin and working with a variety of hip-hop, R&B, jazz, pop and electronic artists. Earlier this year, Ezinma performed with A$AP Ferg at the annual TIDAL X: Brooklyn charity concert.
