Florida rapper Kodak Black is officially a free man again. New pics have surfaced of the Southern hip-hop artist tasting freedom.
Early Saturday, shots emerged of Black leaving a Florida jail.
The Florida rapper was released from the Broward County Jail early Saturday morning after serving 7 months. As you’ll recall … he was doing time for 2 probation violations stemming from being arrested in January. Kodak was initially facing 12 years behind bars, but 5 of the 7 charges against him were dropped and he was looking at an October release before a judge cut his sentence even more last month. (TMZ)

Friday reports claimed Black would go check on his mom after getting released.
According to our sources, Black’s release process should start right around midnight and once he’s processed out, it’s straight to mom’s in Florida. We’re told Black’s young son, who was at the center of his arrest, will be there as well. (The Blast)

A few weeks ago, a report surfaced about Kodak landing an early release for time already served in a probation violation case.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the judge granted a motion filed by Kodak’s legal team which will give him an additional 30 days of time served, bringing the grand total to 120. Kodak was originally expected to be released around October, with good behavior, but with the updated court order the Broward County Sheriff’s Office now lists his expected release date as August 18.
