This year marks my first Winter in Austin, TX and though I’ve missed seeing snow blanket the ground, I must say the lack of constant bitter cold of the upper midwest more than makes up for it. Whatever the temperature & precipitation outside though, Winter represents to me feelings of cold and melancholy as well as warmth and beauty, which I’ve I tried to evoke with this year’s mixtape.
