New Era Project

New Era Project, based out of Fayetteville, North Carolina, is a band that stands out amongst its peers. A band driven by purpose and filled with passion, the brain child of Dustin Lowery (formerly of the bands Ether Seeds & Downs Lane) and Matt Crain formerly of Tapestry). Formed on October 11, 2006, Dustin and Matt spent the next year and a half writing and recording countless songs, the chemistry between the two musicians was electric. Dustin’s powerful vocals and Matt’s ferocious guitar skills proved to be a magnetic combination. It wasn’t long before the two recognized the need to take the next step in putting together the right musicians to carry New Era Project to the next level. It was than in June 2007 that they recruited Andy Lowery (Formally of Piece by Piece/Downs Lane) , whose bass skills add so much dynamic range to there sound, and Ben Williamson,(formally of Piece by Piece/Downs Lane) a beast on the drums, to help spread their music and further their sound. The music of New Era Project achieves that rare balance of melody and aggression that many bands seek but never find. It is this rare and unique combination of each verse, chorus, guitar riff and drum beat that makes the music of New Era Project memorable and brilliant.
