Say hello to Nena Bleu.



She's new and she's Indie, but Hip Hop is about to get a crash course on the future of the MC. This young sweetheart is a star waiting to explode, and she is from Brooklyn NY, the city that sets the standard for cutting edge Hip Hop. This twenty-something year old verbal assassin, who stands six feet tall with all the features of a runway model, spits lyrical fury and has been blazing a trail in Hip Hop circles around the country. Her first single hit the streets June 1st, 2005 on Soul Source/A.L.E Records.



Nenas lyrical anthems raise the bar, calling for those in the streets and the music industry to come correct or get wrecked. "Growing up in Brooklyn during the 80's and the 90's you would come across someone Rhyming or battling on just about every street corner, or in every playground. I heard some of the hottest lyrics during these early stages of witnessing Brooklyn street battles. It inspired me to start Breakdancing, Pop-locking, and eventually Rhyming on the corner myself. Now I display my own flavor. I'm bringing my attitude, my unique style and my love for Hip Hop on this album", says Nena Bleu.



This socially conscious connoisseur of street maneuvers will not sit around waiting to get into the rap game. She believes that being pro-active and aggressive with her music eliminates some of the frustrations that surface when artists are completely dependant on others to control or further their music careers. Nenas lyrical abilities also display a unique writing style that underground junkies crave. She could be considered what Hip Hop legends are made of.



Musical contributions on the album are provided by Neva Say Neva Records recording artist/Producer Finsta (of the internationally popular Hip Hop group FinstaBundy), who contributed to the monster singles, "Red White & Blue" and Lights- Camera Nena. Other notable hits include Move Fast" and Rock" by DJ Dummy (the personal DJ for Interscope recording artist Common). These songs are soon to be DJs favorites around the world.
