Nelson Negron

From the boogie-down Bronx, Nelson Negron brings a different dish to the table. A musician and vocalist, his diversity of styles melds into the colorful mold that is elson. His alter ego “Elson” emerged from his “Urban Son Infused Style.” A multi-instrumentalist, he plays piano, drums, bass and the Puerto Rican ten stringed cuatro. After traveling the world, while working with artists such as Frankie Negron, Brenda K. Starr, Rey Ruiz, Ruben Blades, Conjunto Imagen, Tito Nieves, George Lamond, D.L.G., Huey Dunbar, Jerry Rivera and was formerly from the group Propiedad Urbana. Elson now steps out from behind the background to go Solo in his many coat of colors: "Elson" a showcase of urban tropical fusion that pushes the envelope with edgy grit and innovative drive.
