Necessary Noize

The group was founded in October 2000 and its history is still being written. Necessary Noise was born and bred at Audio Vault Studios and consists of three very different artists, with different styles and influences. Under any other circumstances a blend of three artists such as these would emanate nothing but noise. In our case however, we found that our different styles blended very well and therefore our noise was nothing but necessary.



Their mission is to revolutionize the music scene in Kenya and hopefully worldwide. They would like to touch and reach their fans’ hearts everywhere with the music, regardless of race and age. They also want to pave way for other aspiring musicians and set the standards for them . They discourage monotony but encourage the use of variation of different types of music for example HipHop, Reggae, R ‘n’ B etc.

Their vision is to have Kenyan fans and the media support them and other Kenyan musicians. As a group to successfully release as many albums as they can and not only entertain but pass a message through to the listeners.



Necessary noize's music has no limits; if it sounds good, they do it. The music is just as differrent as their individual styles, inspired by different people some of them being Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Redman, Tedd Josiah and many others.
