Nebo Zdes

Nebo Zdes (Sky is here) - is a Russian independent rock band that first appeared at the beginning of the 1990s under the name Team Ocean. At the end of the 1990s the name was changed to the present one and together with the new name the band got popularity, an opportunity to play at the biggest concert venues, the support of the MTV and other music-related mass media. The band also signed a deal with one of the biggest Russian musical companies.



Besides the biggest Russian musical festivals the band toured through the whole huge territory of Russia, and also performed in Germany, Poland, Estonia, Moldova and Ukraine and opened the concerts of such world known performers as P.J. Harvey and Deftones.



But the popularity and success turned out to be a limiting factor for their creativity and the band faced a dilemma: whether to replicate the successful image or to choose further development even though it would imply turning their back on what brought the success. Having chosen the development Nebo Zdes go on with their musical experiments in the status of an independent rock band and 5 albums released to date and regular concert tours speak in their favour.



Their latest album was released in autumn, 2007 and now the musicians are working on their new record.
