Leonard E . Croft

Leonard Croft was introduced to the music business as a DJ with partner DJ Romain. They then went on with musician M. Keys Echos releasing several records under their production company Raise the Roof Productions/Raise the Roof Publishing. He then went on over the years to work for various companies in the music industry. He worked for Unique Records Dist. in NYC where he gained his experience in shipping and receiving, import and export and sales. He then went on to work for Big East Ent, which was a Record Dist., and owned 5 independent labels from hip-hop to R&B to gospel. His position was Director of Sales and A&R for hip-hop and R&B. Mr. Croft then went on to work with legendary Glen Sweety G. Toby and Randal E. Toby as managing director for their independent label Permanent Records.
During that time, Mr. Croft was also managing artist, John Shaft, hip-hop artist, who was signed to Eight Ball Records. He also represented “Aphta Lyfe”, “Dibiase" and "Floss” of the hip hop group, “The Council” and “The Brooklyn Zoo”. Shortly after Mr. Croft hooked up with his childhood friend, the legendary “Kangol Kid” from the group “U.T.F.O.” and formed a management team along with Dante Dottin under Kangol’s independent label Kreative Records who had such artists as “Samantha the Voice of Hot 97”. Kangol produced all of the jingles for Hot 97 Air personalities from Angie Martinez to Wendy Williams, to Ed & Dre. Samantha was the voice of those promos. Kreative Records released a single with Samantha featuring Hot 97 DJ Cocoa Chanelle and Poet Jessica Care Moore. The song was aired on ladies night with Angie Martinez.
Not long after Mr. Croft reconnected with Randal E. Toby and formed management company Ranman music and RayRay Ent. They represented several unsigned artists and met with Record companies execs. such as Atlantic Records, Arista Records, Tommy Boy Records, etc. soliciting material. Mr. Croft then went on to form Nu Breed Ent./NBE Music Group in 2007 and is now currently representing hip hop artists Protegee, pop artists Katie Campbell, pop/R&B/singer/songwriter T Cotton and producers Donovan Phantom Boyz Price, Gee Wiz & Korey Bolden. In 2008, Mr.Croft started NBE Models, in which he is currently working with, Protegee a.k.a Nikki White, Dawn Livingston & Casey The Model. He was most recently appointed manager for ONEoak Records Inc. Canada/USA and Managing A&R for Video City TV. Currently Managing A&R for Phantom Boyz Music Group LLC.
