Nathan G isn't like other music pioneers. He doesn't claim to be a godfather of anything, nor does he dwell on past glories. He is mindful of the present and, even more
than that, looking to the future. He's always evolving, moving forward, regenerating.
A bona fide internationalist, Nathan has done much to put Melbourne – and Australia – on the global house music map, as underscored by the title of his EP for Salted Music 'Melbourne Shuffle', encompassing the sublime & celebrated '88 Keys To Love'. Seized by wanderlust, he's travelled extensively overseas and also DJ'd alongside a Who's Who of house & techno masters over time including Frankie Knuckles, Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson, Steve Silk Hurley, Roy Davis Jnr, Stacey Pullen, A guy called Gerald, Bob Sinclar, DJ Yellow, Masters at Work, Danny Tenaglia, and Joey Negro.
Recent international bookings with modern greats such as Lovebirds, Trus'me, iSoul8, Miguel Migs, Phil Asher, Giom, Fred Everything, and Vincenzo are further testament to his relevant take on house music.
Born in Melbourne to British expat parents - a respected painter and a poet, Nathan forged his own artistic path in music. As a DJ he secured his first residency at the mythic 'Tasty' in the nineties. He was soon producing. Coming from the Antipodes, he'd been exposed equally to the sounds of the US and Europe, allowing him to offer a fresh and buoyant twist to electronic music.
Nathan has DJ'd at iconic Melbourne
clubs – Freakazoid, OneLove, One Six One and Tramp in Melbourne's CBD - yet he's also appeared on national tours for Ministry of Sound and festivals (including Summadayze's main-stage at Sidney Myer Music Bowl). He's hosted his own programs on the reigning dance station Kiss FM and consistently held residencies around the country – at venues such as Dragonfly in Sydney's Kings Cross and Brisbane's Monastery. Repeat Bookings at international venues include Dragon-I in Hong Kong, Nikki Beach In Miami, The Egg in London, Mighty in San Francisco. Clearly someone that thrives on the pressure and demands of playing a pivotal role in the fabric and future of global house music.

Rich in intuition, Nathan's forward thinking attitude is central to producing the records
he makes & is evident throughout all facets of the recording process and the people he works with. Recent songwriting sessions & studio collaborations with vocalists such as Ten City's Byron Stingily, Dajae,
Alexander East, Lyric L, Heidi Vogel from Cinematic Orchestra, Cecilia Stalin
and Lisa Shaw are a further testament to Nathan's evolution not only as a producer and remixer, but as an accomplishing Songwriter, Artist and Musician to listen out for as we move into the future.
