Take the vocals of Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey, the heartfelt emotions of Mary J Blige, the swagger of Beyoncé and the iconic status of Janet Jackson, and you have in the makings all of the aforementioned, 20 something year old, multi-talented singer and songwriter, West Indian beauty and Long Island native, Natasha Joe. Proving that she is more than just another pretty face, Joe, who began her musical journey at the ripe ol’ age of 7-years old, while singing wherever opportunity presented itself—be it the ‘school hallways,’ ‘on the block,’ or in talent shows, used those avenues to conjure up confidence, that eventually poised her for her journey into the wonderful world of the music business.
With the help of a supportive parent base, Natasha Joe, admits that her parents helped her sign her first management and independent record label contract, and while throughout her journeys in the music realm, Joe has worked with several people, it is her manager, Tina Erwin, in which whom she has a reverence and ‘adores,’ not only because of her ‘on point’ management methodologies, but because of her belief in Joe as not only as a singer, but as a superb songwriter.
