Formed by former members of Moon SKA Record's Easy Big Fella, Natalie Wouldn't entered the Seattle music scene in 2001. The current 7 member line up now includes: Rick Dybvad, Kevin Crosby, Shawn Brockman, Mike Fanning, Sean Jenson, Ric Pentilla, and Mike Ayer
Over time the song writing has flowed, and the quite original blend of Ska, Soul and Rock-and-roll was born. The combination of Ska rhythms, vocal harmonies, a three piece horn section and well written material soon had crowds skanking at clubs in and around the area at venues like the Showbox Theater, Northwest Folklife and the Victoria Ska Fest.
Their first full length album ["Ska, Soul, Rock and Roll"] was released in 2006 and reflects the kind of true collaboration that happens when a band develops a sound live, in rehearsal and on the stage. This album contains fan favorites such as 'FBI', 'Doggone' and 'London'. Their latest album ["Nick the Beat"] was released in 2009 and is packed with 12 great tunes including more fan favs like 'Four Stop', 'Pussy Go Ska' and 'Good Time'.
Natalie Wouldn't has shared the stage with bands such as The English Beat, The Suburban Legends, Bad Manners, The Toasters, The Slackers, MU330, Westbound Train, The Phenomenauts and Satori.
The current line-up is sharp and sophisticated as their live show proves; not only do they possess a stunning collection of talent but they share a vision of the direction Natalie Wouldn't is taking as a band.
Natalie Wouldn't is certainly on the move!
