Naive Clothing

What would happen if a company decided to focus on something other than making a profit? What if they focused on changing our world and showing others how to do the same? World change is not the realm of celebrities, saints, and power brokers, but of ordinary people. The vision of Naive Clothing goes beyond selling uniquely designed t-shirts; it's about partnering with people who are passionate. Who have seen need or injustice and have said, "Enough!" Instead of making ourselves richer, Naive Clothing wants to start a new business model in which we bless others with our profit asking nothing in return.



Naive Clothing was started in May 2004 by a couple of guys in their twenties that had the crazy idea that they could change the world and started a company with the crazier idea of one day giving away that company's profit. It started with a goal of not only selling clothing that appealed to a generation that doesn't like labels, but of helping others express their true selves. Now, Naive Clothing is realizing its larger vision of sharing their profits to help those in need and partnering with organizations who are already working to make our world a little better. Whether it's helping villages in Africa dig wells so they can have clean water or giving voice to children who have become invisible through the brutality of war and our own indifference, Naive wants to bring awareness to these causes and show likeminded individuals how they can become involved.



That is why Naive Clothing is launching Our Profit For Their Profit. Every item that we sell will be assigned to one of six organizations and part of the profits from the sale of that item will go towards its assigned organization. In addition, each year we will have six specially designed shirts representing the spirit of each organization that will launch our new line every year. It is our goal to show our customers how something as simple as buying a shirt can make a big impact and that their buying choices can make a difference. Because we want to be a company that helps other, all our shirts will be made by American Apparel who operates in the United States and provides a safe working environment and fair wages to its employees. We at Naive thought it would be hypocritical to promote social action while selling t-shirts made in sweatshops. Our products will become more expensive, but we hope our customers will realize that Naive Clothing wants to be held accountable to our vision.



This is our dream. This is what we at Naive Clothing have been working towards since the inception of the company. We want to invite others to help make our vision a reality. It is not something we can do on our own nor do we want to try and accomplish this by ourselves. The spirit of our generation is changing from apathy to action. Naive clothing wants to be a part of that change and the only way we can do that is if you join us.
