Laura Estrada

Laura Estrada (Madrid, 1990) is a Spanish-American singer and songwriter, the only daughter of a musician father and an art dealer mother. She grew up in Madrid and schooled at the Lycée Français; as a child, she also spent sometime in Houston, TX where she learned english. In 1999 she began taking piano lessons and composing her first songs; from that moment on she knew that she had been given a gift that had to be developed and delivered to the public. Her first live performance took place at the age of twelve and her first studio recording at the age of thirteen. Laura Estrada speaks and performs in Spanish, English and French. Her main influences are Whitney Houston, Marvin Gaye, Jocelyn Brown, Incognito and Brand New Heavies, among others. Laura's vocal range registers from alto to mezzo-soprano, but mostly performs in the mezzo-soprano range.
