Biography
Nadie is a female singer/songwriter Nadie Keating from West London. Nadie has been performing since she was three years old in her fathers band and it was obvious that she would follow in her parents footsteps after being born into such a strong musical family. Nadies mother was a vocalist and her father was a drummer and vocalist.
Nadie has been gigging in and around London in various acts for well over six years, and this is where she met Jo Webb her co-writer and producer, whilst working for the same band. What wasn't an instant liking, soon changed as they realised that they had plenty in common, from their similar Celtic backgrounds to their love of music including bands such as Pink Floyd, Soundgarden, Led Zeppelin & Kate Bush which have influenced them greatly. These common interests soon led to a solid and creative working partnership.
Nadie born to two Irish parents, was a natural performer and entertainer from a very early age so the role of vocalist and songwriter comes naturally to Nadie. With a passion for live performance, coupled with an extrovert personality, makes Nadie an energetic and charismatic front person. A force to be reckoned with and voice to die for Nadie's incredible ability to put her emotions out there send the nerves tingling and the hairs on your neck stand up.
In the two years that Nadie and Jo have been working together, has led them to co-write and record her debut 11 track album The MNaughton Rule, which is a collection of songs describing dysfunctional relationships. Written during a time when Nadie had broken up from a long term relationship and had recently suffered the death of her father, every song is an emotional and heartfelt experience.
Nadie is signed to Gneiss records and is currently working on her sophomore album.
