MYRIS play Rock, as well as Pop music. They simply call it „POCKMUSIC“



With her amazing charismatic voice and live performance, vocalist Alexandra is the figurehead of MYRIS. She captivates the audience with her powerful, energetic, yet gentle voice. Backed up by Frank's vocals, she knows how to ingrain great hooks in the listeners ear.



MYRIS constantly tour all across Germany and love to perform with passion,  whether it's a big festival, intimate club-concert, a high-profile showcase or as opener for the famous 80's band CUTTING CREW.

MYRIS also have proven themselves by winning some of Germanys biggest music-contests. With the support of HR3 (one of Germany's largest radio stations), they took the chance to be the opening act for BON JOVI and NICKELBACK in front of 30.000 people in the Summer of 2006, without a doubt their greatest achievement yet.



Radioformated Rockmusic is what the band does best.



The 2005 self-released E.P. “Spinning around” was sold out after a few weeks following it's release. Their first Single “Spinning around” has hit the stores in June 2006



In august 2008 the following single "Only true love hurts" announces the long awaited debut album "TODAY" which was released October 31th 2008.



Both singles get regular airplay on German Radiostations like HR3, RPR1, SR1, Radio Salü, Antenne MV, SWR3, DasDing and many others

MYRIS lässt sich nicht einfach in eine Schublade stecken. Mal sanft mal aggressiv und immer für eine Überraschung gut. Oder wie einmal aus einem Verspecher heraus die Aussage entstand : "Wir spielen POCK"!!!

Die Songs der 4 Musiker aus dem Rhein-Main-Gebiet werden Ihren Hörern mit viel Liebe zum Detail und mit einer grossen Portion Spielfreude dargeboten.

Bereits wenige Monate nach Gründung der Band konnte man auf ein ohrwurmlastiges Programm von eingängigen Popsongs blicken und inzw. jagt ein Livetermin der Band den anderen und die Band stellt ein ums andere Mal ihre unglaubliche Energie live unter Beweis.

Auch auf Wettbewerben wurde dies bestätigt!

Im Mai 2005 wurde u.a. in Magstadt bei Stuttgart der Bandcontest des OBNÄR Festivals gewonnen.

Im November 2005 erspielte man sich in der Frankfurter Batschkapp den Hessischen Rock & Poppreis des Deutschen Rockmusikerverbands.

Höhepunkt der bisherigen Bandgeschichte war ein durch HR3 gewonnener Auftritt beim Hessentag 2006 vor knapp 30.000 Zuschauern als Supportband von BON JOVI und NICKELBACK.



Die im August veröffentlichte Single "Only true love hurts" kündigte das langerwartete erste Album der Band an, welches am 31.10.2008 unter dem Namen "TODAY" veröffentlicht wurde.



Auch Radiosender wie HR3, RPR1, SR1, Radio Salü, Antenne MV, SWR3, DasDing u.v.m wurden auf MYRIS aufmerksam und namen beide Singles der Band unter anderem in ihre regulären Playlists auf.
