My Fatal Mistake

My Fatal Mistake were the definition of D.I.Y. The five young musicians had been together since the summer of 2005, and were well-established in the Pacific Northwest music scene. Having released one album, The Perils of Life, along with a soon-to-be released live album/DVD combo. M.F.M. forcefully drove themselves into the hearts of local show-goers through their die-hard work ethic and consistent gig schedule.

The final lineup of My Fatal Mistake in it's last incarnation was composed of five young men who were all readily established in Spokane's music scene, My Fatal Mistake encompass many different elements of music into their art, striving to not be lumped into the mix as just another generic metalcore band. Featuring Jason Overdorff (Johnny Get Down, Welcome to Whittier), Mitch Smithpeter (United Effect, Insult to Injury), Jason Wolpert (the Lot Lizards, Dead Reckoning), Dustin Carroll (Merrick Diaries, ex-Skies Burn Black), and Derek Binsfield (ex-Pimagora, The Green River Killer).



Jason Overdorff is currently playing guitar in Jedediah the Pilot and is the vocalist of ReinKaos. Dustin Carroll is currently playing bass guitar for Anadonia, the Back Row Kings, and The Grocery Boys. Jason Wolpert is the drummer of The Lot Lizards, Naupygus, and Lobster Jaw. Derek Binsfield plays guitar for Naupygus.
