/Dero is the most famous Southamerican Dj. He was born 40 years ago in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He started his career at the age of 13 in private parties and very soon he became the DJ for a discotheque called Airport. After 2 years he was signed up as a resident in the best club in Buenos Aires called New York City leading the night life for 9 years. In this club Dero achieved a local status of superstar which enabled him to release his first record in 1992 called "Dj Dero Volumen 1". This record reached platinum status in Argentina, also in Mexico, Colombia, Uruguay, Paraguay and Chile. After his succesful incursion in the music industry he changed his Dj booth in New York City for the residence in El Cielo, the biggest club in Bs.As. which once again put him at the top level in the music business and night life in Argentina.
That same year his musical releases continued with the worldwide hit "Batucada" which allowed him to appear not only in the local sales charts, but also obtaining top tens in countries like: Germany, Spain, France, Mexico, Colombia, Portugal. He is now chosen for three consecutive years as the most influential DJ's and a truely pioneer of electronic music in South America by Billboard. For the release of his fourth album in 1996, he played in Tokyo being the first latinamerican to reach Asia, to continue his tour in Southamerica, Europe and USA.
During the 1998 World Tour, Dero was invited to play at the famous Berlin Love Parade were he was the only South American DJ participate inthe biggest party, with more than one million people dancing on the streets. In 1999 he was invited again and has been playing till today.
Ezequiel was also chosen to make the remix of the oficial anthem of Love Parade in the years 1999-2000-2003 and 2006.
In 2000 he played at MayDay Festival (Dortmund-Germany), the first time a southamerican DJ participated.
Later in the year, Dero released worldwide all his productions through a joint venture with the dance label Strictly Rhythm. His new productions included the mega hits Euforia, Revolution,, The horn 2000 and Mayday 2000 all of them part of his sixth album "euforia"
In 2001 Electrosamba, which blends techno-electro beats and latin percussion elements, combined in a very unique way that makes people dance all around the globe. Includes the hit"Tuk Tak"that pushed that sound even further, being played by top Dj's from different countries, like Pete Tong, Judge Jules, Westbam amongst others. This single entered the top 40 of Billboard .The video for this single was filmed in the island of Ibiza during his numerous presentations.
In the year 2002 Dero participated in Love Parade Mexico, for the first time in this country with 200.000 people at the Revolution monument.He also played at Mayday 2002 in which the track "Scratchin" was included in the official compilation. He particpated in "Mayday Poland" and finally once again in "Love Parade" Berlin with his remix of the official anthem "Access Peace". He presented also his latest release called "Electrolatino 7" that includes the hit singles "Do the Tango", "Mayday 2002", "Rockin", "Tuk tak" etc. Plus made more gigs around Southamerica, Europe and Usa launching his new Lp and hit tracks.
During 2003 he particpated in the Winter Music Conference in Miami, in "Ultra Festival" together with Underworld, Tiesto, Pete Tong, Paul Van Dyk etc. Then Mexico Loveparade, (150.000). He also played at Mayday Dortmund (30.000 people), together with other international DJ's and then Mayday St. Petesburg, Russia (25.000 people) were he was once again chosen to make a remix of the original track. The release of his track "Revoltuion" caused are real revolution first between DJ's around the world and then with the public. In July "Love Parade" Berlin, making once again the remix of the official track "Love Rules"and being part of the afterhours at Tresor, together with Electric Kingdom festival.
The year 2004 started once more in Japan, playing at the famous "Womb" in Tokyo. He then went to the Winter Music Conference 2004, were he presented his new project called "Candyall Beat" produced together with the prestigious Carlinhos Brown, and more than 50 percussionists, a production claimed by the international press.
After participating for the first time in Wire 04 festival in Japan, he went to Spain were he presented himself with carlinhos Brown at Forum festival, with a live show for 400.000 people in the streets of Barcelona, one of his most memorable moments in his carrer. The new anthem of Candyall Beat called "mariacaipirinha" was born, reaching number one charts in Spain.
Simultaniosly his new single "Bocarriba" was signed by the Subliminal Records, owned by DJ/Producer Erick Morillo, he made this track one of the anthem fot summer 2004 in Ibiza.
By the end of the year he participates in the first Southamerican Music Conference, remebered as the night were Dero re united with the great argentine public, , participating with artists such as Marco Bailey, Ritchie hawtin, Christian Smith etc.
2005 starts at the Winter Music Conference presenting his new single "1989" with remixes by Felipe & Nicolas Bacher, Alexander Koning, Steve Angello and others, and playing at ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL. The track was chosen by MixMag as one of the "essential new techno tunes", it is also releases by Subliminal Records, considered by the international press the most respetable labels worlwide.
At the same time Dero starts working with new technologies during his tours, together with his team mate and producer Nicolas Guerrieri, they have a new act called "SouthAmerican Techno Live Show"
Southamerican Techno is the new album Dero will be presenting during the second half of 2005, a triple album which reflects himself as a DJ and producer which includes his new material, including his hit "Dero's Illusion", it incursionates in disco music with Leee John, vocalist of the legendary Imagination, giving the track his classic techno sound. It will also be released by Subliminal Records. The track will be presented in Ibiza during Subliminal Sessions, were Dero & Nicolas will be playing with Erick Morillo for the oficial release.
Actually Dero has participated in Carnavales Movistar in Spain, were he played with the group Candyall Beat for more than 1.500.000 people in Madrid and 1.000.000 people in Sevilla, Valencia, Barcelona and Bilbao.
2009 New Deros ANIMAL album (Juicy Music)
