Carolyn

CAROLYN was born in Hamburg/NORTH WEST Germany and raised in Sri Lanka/SOUTH EAST Asia. She carries 2 cultures in her heart which

could not be more different to each other.

At the age of seven CAROLYN moved to the tropical island of Sri Lanka with her family. She says “I was basically thrown into a new environment

overnight. Everything in Sri Lanka seemed different to what I had known in Germany. Life suddenly got very exciting. I‘ll never

forget seing free elephants, parrots and monkeys for the first time! Television was another world too. Instead of Sesame Street we watched

bollywood movies. I loved the dancing, the costumes, and I was magically drawn to the television! Today both countries are my home.“ After

she graduated from highschool CAROLYN traveled the world. She gathered her experiences and took them to the studio. She combined

western POP songs with the sound of Bollywood and created her own style: BOLLYPOP!

CAROLYN released her first Album „Matters Of The Heart“ in 2009. She says “I found my style and the music that makes me happy! I want to

paint peoples hearts with bright and strong colours, Pop meets Bollywood. I LOVE BOLLYPOP!“
