Muttley

I Face The Dagger nascono nel 2004 con il nome Muttley da un'idea di Alessandro (batteria) che propone

la formazione di un gruppo a Zorimer (voce). Facile fu l'assegnazione del

ruolo di bassista a Marco, mentre ben più arduo fu trovare un chitarrista:

quest'ultimo fu trovato dopo quasi un anno di ricerca in Giovanni, un bassista

col quale Alessandro aveva suonato precedentemente e che mostrando interesse

per il progetto decise di iniziare a suonare la chitarra. Definito il sound,

in un punk-hardcore con chiare influenze metal il gruppo comincia ad esibirsi

di fronte al pubblico nel 2006. All'attivo hanno una demo (2007) e

la partecipazione ad alcune compilation fra cui quella della pecci records di

prossima uscita. Successivamente si unisce al gruppo Baro alla chitarra per dare una maggiore spinta ai pezzi.

After few months Marco joined the band, and so starts this experience.

The problem was to find a guitar player. After trying many ones, Alessandro

decide to ask to join the band to Giovanni, a bass player who played with

in a band some month before. Confirmed the guitar player, the band passed more

than a year searching his own sound, playing frequently at the box.

In april 2006 they play live for the first time followed by other exhibitions.

They begun known in their local scene, feature a lot of compilation and record

their demo in october 2007. The work receives good feedback, mostly outside Italy.

In january 2008 Baro joins the band, to give a more aggressive sound with his guitar.

They figured in many compilations.

Now the band is going to record its first full-lenght cd.
