Ske

ske‘s 2002 debut album, «life, death, happiness and stuff» mixed together the acoustic style of ske‘s predecessor skárren ekkert with electronic as well as pop / rock instrumentation. Among the vocalists on their first album were the Japanese Juri Hashimoto (a.k.a. Julietta), French Julie Coadou and Icelanders Jón Oddur Guðmundson (a.k.a. Joddi) and Daníel Ágúst (from gusgus). ske‘s second album, «feelings are great», was released in 2004 with Ragnheiður Gröndal and Joddi as the main vocalists.



ske has also performed live with Ágústa Eva Erlendsdóttir (of Sylvía Nótt fame) and Sigtryggur Baldursson (Sugercubes / Steintryggur).



ske has performed on music festivals such as Roskilde 2003, SXSW 2005 and Spot 2005 as well as taking part in Airwaves 2003-2006.



Currently ske consists of it‘s founding members Eiríkur, Frank, Guðmundur and Hrannar, recently joined by Höskuldur Ólafsson (original member of Quarashi) and drummer Paul Maguire.



ske is finishing recording and has started mixing their upcoming album, to be released in 2008.
