09/06/08 This is the Big One

August Tour. We're sure you all already know that we are touring in august aswel as july. The August tour is the big one for us so far this year and will see us hopefully playing 15 straight dates across the UK. Bookings are coming in thick and fast so take another quick look at our gig list to see the closest place we are playing to you. Make sure you all come down to one of the shows, watch Ourselves, This Ocean Between & Drown the City tear shit up, and then buy some lovely merch so we can all eat that nightGet ready, we're guna F**K shit up.

At the end of next month we will be hitting the road once again, with our good buddays This Ocean Between, and european friends, the Language of Thought Hypothesis. 06/06/08 KWBS Sign to LBR

Yes guys its true. we have just confirmed our signing with Horror-Fest organisers/runners Life Burns Records. Life Burns Owner had this to say;

Life Burns Records are happy to announce that they have finally come to a deal with Isle of Wight breakout act 'Kids Will Be Skeletons' to a 2 album deal.

We all at life burns records are very happy that we have come to terms and are looking forward to working with the boys, expect a release to come out the start of January followed by a full United Kingdom tour.

"Owain the drummer here. Its been a roller-coaster few years in this band. The lineup change has been unreal, but somehow we have always managed to pull through and create some exiting, fresh music. due to money problems, and a certain member of the band not being fully committed and wanting to pursue other things, we've been forced to call it a day. Ive wanted to carry it on, as have 3 other members, but the arguing, bitching and fighting has, well, apparently been to much to carry on with. There are members in this band who want to have a career in music, and will do anything necessary to do that, and there's those who don't. I felt i wanted to put a proper apology up here instead of some half arsed laid back one, oozing with rock-star attitude. I apologize massively to all those of you who went out of your way to purchase a ticket, those who stayed around in shitty venues to watch us, those who bought shirts and CD's, and those who have been there from the beginning. I'm sorry to anyone who was going to come see us on tour(s). I am sorry to drown the city and this ocean between for letting you boys down as your wicked guys. Only Nathan has access to the myspace. We wanted to carry on in the future and find a replacement, but that's not going to be possible as Nathan will not give us the myspace. Petty but there you go. So yeh thank you. Bit off an essay but i didnt want there to be some stupid "We have split. soz. kwbs" bullshit up here. But the thing im most sorry about is the fact that this band split up on such petty terms, after just getting a record deal, booking 2 big UK tours, gaining some what of a fan base, and looking like it could be successful few years. I guess some things are not meant to be. the reason the IOW isnt on the fucking map is because bands down here are to fucking lazy to do anything. They are not willing to get off there arse, travel that bit of water and actualy DO it. there's way to many fuckin wannabee rockstars on the island who are happy waiting for something to fall onto there laps. So many people on the IOW have wanted to see us fail because of jelousy. So to all the bands, and people, and the snobs up at platform one who bicthed about us cos we didnt fit into your crew, fuck you. youve seen our demise, now get back to what you do best. Playing half arsed bullshit, and feeding of off platform one's teets. Im sure you will headline ryde theatre some day. And to anyone on here, Open your mind and listen to stuff other than metal. It will do you a world of good. Peace.

its true we have split up, and there is a lot of bitching, and slagging off going on as to who's fault it is, as some of you may have notice in some bulletins if you are friends of certain members of the band on myspace, BUT.there is a simple reason that the band has called it a day. not everyone in the band was prepared to work for one goal, it was fine for all 5 of us to sit down and make decisions about the band but when it came to putting them into practice, Especially PAYING for these decisions, it was always down to just 2 of us. this is the reason we have split, a couple have felt like its not fair for 2 of the band to fund everything.



there is more to a band, then just writing music and playing shows, its a unity, a group of people supposedly ready to work for the same thing, but this time it just wasn't the case.



im really sorry that it has come to this, but enough was enough.



Owain has said that i wont hand over the myspace, this isnt the case, i have discussed this with Radford, (other guitarist and joint founder of the band) and at any point he wants to carry on kwbs, the myspace will be handed over to him, until that time, the myspace will be left untouched. so. you might see kids will be skeletons back on the road in the future, and if the guys want to do that, all the best to them from me.



id like to personally appologise to all the promoters who have worked with me to book the kwbs shows, and to all the promoters who were looking forward to working with us on tour. keep doing what your doing guys, take risks give the underdogs a show.

and more than anything sorry to the fans, the ones who have been with us from the start and the ones who just joined at the end, thankyou for your contiued support, thankyou for coming to the shows, thanks for being our friends on here and helping to spread the word about us. thanks for buying the merch, the cds the shirts.

Kids Will Be Skeletons formed on the Isle of Wight in January 2007 in the rock crucible that is rural England, where you either rot slowly into adulthood or form a band. Kids Will Be Skeletons determination to higher the level of music coming off their home island drove them to become a well known Island band in a matter of months.



Guitarists “Nathan Russell and Keiren Radford”, along with Ex Bassist “Owain Casey” met at Music College. When childhood friends, Singer “Betch” and Drummer “Chrissy G joined”, Kids Will Be Skeletons began the enthusiastic gigging that has helped to build their ever growing fanbase. Due to uncontrolable curcumstances Vocalist Betch has now been replaced. We welcome Thom Jones with a big space marrine salut. Unfortunately Chrissy G has left the band, we wish him all the best with everything he does in the future.



Yes People, another line-up change.

Bassist Ben Lindfield has had to leave band due to personal reasons, we're all going to miss playing with that homo. But on a possitive note feel that new bassist Adam Tabner will help forward our sound.
