Shayna Sherie "Ms.Shayna" was born and raised in Philadelphia,PA.Growing up in the church Shayna was raised listening to Gospel and Old School R&B.With an incredible love for music, Ms.Shayna began to write poems and songs of her own.Shayna quickly became a huge fan of TLC and JaRule,However her attention was really directed to T.I. at a concert back in 2006 at age 14 .The vibe she got as T.I. was rapping was amazing and ever since that day she's been into rap.

However at 16,Shayna ran into T.I. again after winning a radio contest in which she was invited to have breakfast with The King of The South.so Shayna decided to write him a poem expressing how much she appreciated him as an artist.After reading the poem T.I. called her "Ms.Poetry".So Ms.Shayna continued to use that name while performing at local open mics and shows.Ms.Shayna has opened up for the Bluenotes, TYM ,and many other local artist.Shayna has gained a moderate group of supporters and continues to express what she sees and hears through her music.Ms.Shayna also is a model and actress.She has played an extra in "Beloved" alongside Oprah Winfrey and Danny Glover, she also has graced the covers of Zany Brainy , Childrens Place, and Strawbridges and Clothiers". Ms.Shayna will go far in life telling her story through both poetry/rap.

Not only is Ms.Shayna an artist she also is the CEO/Founder of an Indie Label 'Make It Entertainment.' This young lady is going to go far so get locked in now.
